Is it possible to charge a fee for ServiceM8 customers paying with credit card through stripe?

I’d like to have the option to pass on the credit card fees to clients who chose to pay by credit card. I don’t want to charge clients who pay by bank transfer. Since I don’t know what method of payment a client will choose, I can’t add the fee as a line item on the invoice. So, it needs to be an added percentage put on top of the invoice price. For me, stripe processes the credit card and I also have Xero integrated. I asked ServiceM8 support and they told me I should just increase all of my prices. They don’t have this feature on their radar.

Integration to T&A software

We are implementing Mitrefinch and the scheduling system is not ideal for our business. We want something that is more flexible and visual, something like ServicsM8 could be ideal. Before proceeding though, idelaly this would interface somehow to Mitrefinch, perhaps a file at the end of teh day that shows what jobs people wokred, maybe we then upload it to Mitrefinch. Do you think this software can do that? Regards, Greg

Automatic Fields NOT Triggering Webhooks?

I am noticing that if a new Line Item is added to a Job, which in turn the "total_invoice_amount" field is update to reflect this updated value of the Job Line Item(s), this is not triggering a webhook update causing data to be out-of-sync and inaccurate. Any insights?

Hi There Hope you are well. Has Service M8 integrated with any MYOB Exo sites? I have prospect who is interested in MYOB Exo and currently using Service M8 and I would like to gain an understanding as to what integration methods there are for Service M8. Are the only options through the Service M8 API? API for Oxygen Accounting

Hi team, I have a potential SM8 client who is using Oxygen Book Keeping for their accounting, their accountant has advised that in order for this to work they will need an API plugin. Is this possible? If so what is the process and costs involved? Thank you in advance.

Is it possible with ServiceM8 using API calls to interface with a CMMS system? We currently utilize our CMMS to maintain customers, assets, generate work orders and history and contracts.

Webhook Notification

I have a problem with webhook notifications. Successfully configuring the webhook, gives the response of success. After I change the records in serviceM8 it won't reflect the response to my configure URL in the webhook.

As a wholesaler im trying to PDF Invoice Integrate

Hi, Our company (electrical wholesaler with @ 150 Branches who have hundreds of customers using serviceM8) sends a .CSV file for price file Integration but our current PDF Invoice is not suitable to be uploaded to a job card etc. we have some new PDF Invoice templates that we would like to be trialled, can someone in I.T etc be able to trial and let us know what we can do to either edit etc. so your customers have a better experience using serviceM8

New Zapier Action

Okay, so we solved that one. Before Jobs are really jobs, they are 1st leads. So we can code all the leads with a Job Status of Quotes, rather than Work Order. Except that's a lot of manual work. Almost all of my jobs come in as leads via our website via Zapier. So we need an API/Zapier solution to assign the Job Status as Quote when they arrive, as opposed to Work Order, -which they aren't yet. Advise please. Zac Ah I see.
